Eagle Lake Headlight Celebrates 100 Years in 2004

In an effort to preserve over 100 years of historical recounts of events that happened in and around Eagle Lake, Texas, noted historian Sidney Elmer Struss of Eagle Lake is gathering and editing many events of the community spanning over 150 years.  These recounts of history are periodically being offered by Mr. Struss to the Eagle Lake Headlight for reprint and also being posted to the Eula and David Wintermann Library Internet site.

Please feel free to come back and visit at your convenience as many more events are planned for this site.  At the completion of transcribing and editing these events, all material will be submitted to a publisher for producing a book that will be available at the Eagle Lake High School and E. H. Henry High School All-class Reunion in October, 2005.
